Hello everyone! This is Dave & Kaelynn from LongDistanceDates.com. Kaelynn lives in British Columbia, and Dave lives in Maryland USA. We live a whole continent apart and are currently divided by a closed border. We've been a long-distance couple for 2 years after meeting on Reddit in December 2018. ❤️ We knew we were soulmates within the first 24 hours and our whole relationship has been like something out of a Hallmark movie. Since our relationship began, we have been interviewed by 6 different newspapers and our love-story has made it to national news. 😮😍
Our goal is to share creative and engaging long-distance dates and help people connect around the world.

Hi everyone,
So great to have this community to be a part of!
I am Rozelle from Australia 🇦🇺 and my boyfriend is Vicky from India 🇮🇳 - aka. Billi & Bandar (our nicknames for each other - meaning cat 🐈 and monkey 🐒 in Hindi).
We have a joint Instagram account (@retro.rosy) but it's mostly me posting fashion stuff and Vicky occasionally posting religious/cultural stuff and positive quotes.
We are a nevermets couple and have been together for 9 months ever since connecting on Instagram. I feel like it's a sweet story, Vicky started following me on Instagram about 16 months ago, he found me because I used the hash tag #nosering, and he loved my nosering and thought I was pretty. He tried to reach out to me a few times over the months, but I was reluctant to start chatting with a strange man from another country. Fast forward to October last year when he replied to one of my Insta stories. To this day I don't even know what compelled me to finally answer him back, but I did and the rest is history!
We messaged a lot for 5 days and finally had our first video call on the 6th day. I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect, but strangely enough he was so easy to talk to and I felt so at comfortable. Now all these months later, he is literally my bestest friend and despite not being able to psychically meet yet, we have a lot of feelings for one another and care about each other a lot.
Our first actual meeting would have been in May this year, but then COVID happened and we know how the story goes...........
I remember the day his country closed its borders and a few days later mine did also, we both just felt so much despair. It's difficult not knowing if and when we will be able to meet, not even being able to make a plan or have a timeline. But we know there are so many other couples in the same situation and we just have to keep positive and keep strengthening our relationship in the meantime.
❤️❤️❤️
Hey everyone 😊 This is Marie from Germany and my other half is Andrew who is living in the States. We met each other on Bumble (which is working via GPS and always just in a certain radius) - which honestly was a huge coincidence, since Andrew was just on a layover in Dublin and I was there with my mum for just a night. His colleagues swiped for him, and my mum swiped for me, and it still feels like a dream that we managed to match in this small time frame we had. That was back in November 2019 and since we couldn’t stop talking and texting, he pretty much immediately invited me over. Thanks to that, on January 16th I was already able to be in his arms for almost two weeks, and afterwards he almost immediately booked his flight to visit me. March this year was the last time we saw each other, and since then COVID basically destroyed all our plans for this year (but guess we aren’t alone with that :P). I’m definitely not good with LDRs and can’t wait for the US and the EU to lift their travel bans so I can finally be with him again ❤️ I wish you all so much strength for the upcoming months, I think we all need it.
PS: We just joined Instagram with our account yesterday www.instagram.com/the_prince_and_the_astronaut
Hey everyone!
We're Tünde & Rachid I'm from Hungary 🇭🇺, he is from Morocco 🇲🇦, but he is living in Dubai. We first met through my ex boyfriend in Morocco in September 2014. After my relationship ended with my ex Rachid and I were texting almost every day as friends and I felt that he wanted to get closer to me but I wasn't ready for a new relationship and I didn't want to cause drama.. You know dating my ex's friend can be problematic.. And then I got into a new relationship what lasted for almost 3 years. We remained friends with Rachid but didn't talk that often anymore. My relationship ended last summer and we started to talk again regularly and this time he didn't let me push him away ❤️ We're together since 28 September 2019 and met twice since then in Dubai. We fell in love the first time we met in November 2019. We were lucky to meet right before the lockdown, in March 2020. Now we're trying to figure out how to close the distance asap. 🥰❤️ If everything goes as we planned we will meet soon in Morocco and spend little more time together and celebrate our first anniversary together. 💕
Okay here we go
i am Jessica from Germany. My significant other is Isaac from the USA.
we first met in April 2017 in a crappy hostel in Madrid. He was pretty drunk since he went to a Flamenco show earlier that night, I was all over the place because my phone was stolen. But he happened to be quite attracted by my unicorn pj pants. We talked for a while and I thought he was pretty annoying. Before we said good night, he left his email information on a metro ticket. The next day we continued our individual travels. One week later I was on a very long bus trip from northern Spain back to Madrid and somehow I found this metro ticket in my purse. I sent him an email. So our communication began. We went from email to Facebook to phone Calls. I told him about my planned Camino de Santiago in July. He was kinda impressed by my Camino addiction and we decided he would join me. ( actually it is still discussed who brought the idea up). I was pretty scared because I was used to hike alone. a few weeks later we met in Oviedo to start our three week hike together. I have already been hiking for a couple of days and he was my fresh, clean and excited Camino virgin. Somewhere on our long first date we fell in love.
since COVID mixed up all of our plans for this year we are celebrating our third anniversary separated in august, but we are going to close the gap in march 2021 and Start a new life together in Spain. It was quite a journey with many ups and downs but we are still here and still happy.
we are Running a travel website together in German and English. Since we are both working full time it is not as far as planned but it’s updated frequently. So it’s worth to check it out every now and then

Hey everyone !
I love this blog idea! I follow a lot of Ig accounts and I love having a new place for us!
I am Juliette, from France 🇨🇵 and my awesome boyfriend Alex is from Ecuador 🇪🇨. We just met end of march 2020 on the language app "Hellotalk". I thought his posts were funny so I texted him, and since then, we never stopped talking. We fell in love with our personnality, then our voices, face and videos, and the rest is history🥰
I think you can all agree when I say "When you know it is the right one, you know, you feel it"!
The plan is to work to save money and to visit him (hopefully twice) next year.
But we know that spending time separared worth it when we want a whole life together 💜
I love this LDR community, only us can truly understand this pure love we all know, let's all share this beautiful adventure 😍
Hello everybody 👋 I am Phirada, you can call me Rida. I'm from Thailand 🇹🇭 and my boyfriend who came from another side of the world Gastón is from Uruguay 🇺🇾 We met on social media before he came to Thailand. At that time, I was both a new friend and guide for him. We started dating in one month before we are in relationship. We never thought that we will have a long-distance relationship like this. But then it happened. The latest that we have been together is New Year's Eve. Our trip to see each other for celebrate our anniversary in April has to stop because of the situation right now. I'm thankful for the creative this community. For all of your LDR couples, to be strong and keep loving, we will get through it. Would love to know all of you! You can find me on Instagram➡️ @ms.phirada And I'm going to share some journey of us on this Instagram ➡️ @time2zone_official
Hi Everyone 👋🏽✋🏽👋🏽✋🏽 This site is a great idea. We’re glad to be part of the LDR community.
We’re Ari and Jia. You can find us on Instagram @ariandjia
We met on Tinder while Ari was on holiday in Jia’s home town (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). This was back in April 2018 and we are now happily engaged 💍! We’re currently waiting for our K1 Fiancée visa approval so we can settle down together in San Francisco, California.
We’re looking forward to getting to know all of you! Let’s continue to support each other through our LDR journeys ☺️💕
Hello everyone! First of all, thank you for creating this wonderful platform! Would love to get to know more LDR couples who are going through the same thing or those who have successfully closed the distance! 😊 I’m Amalina from Singapore and my fiancé is Zakaria from Morocco! We’re 7382 miles away from each other! We’ve known each other for a year now, been together for 9 months and been engaged for 5 months. Our instagram is @love.fromadistance (https://instagram.com/love.fromadistance?igshid=42iwxglt087t ) Feel free to follow us and DM to talk! Would love to get to know all of you ✨
We first connected because we have the same career, which is being a teacher. I’m a preschool teacher in and he was a kindergarten teacher. We have gotten to know a lot about each other and it has been amazing. We have met for 7 times! The last time was in early February. We’re missing each other so much! We both never thought we would be in a long distance relationship but falling in love with each other was beyond our control. Being in a long distance relationship is definitely hard but in the end I’m sure all the sacrifices and patience will be so worth it.
He’s such an amazing man and I can’t wait to be his wife. We were supposed to get married in April but sadly due to the coronavirus, we had to postpone our wedding to a later date. We’re not sure when yet. Hoping things will get better and we can end this distance between us soon!
The most special thing about our relationship is the love we have for each other. It’s amazing someone can make you feel so much even with the distance! He is such a kind, gentle and sweet man. I thank God everyday for gifting me such an amazing man!
To all the LDR couples, I wish all of you happiness and love! We will get through this. Be strong and keep loving each other 💕 Prayers and love for all of you!

Hi everybody 💕 Thanks for having us! Please follow us on IG so we can keep in touch @180daysfiance 🌍
My name is Maxwell (Kenya 🇰🇪) and my girly Kristin, aka strawberry milkshake, is from the other side of the world (Norway 🇧🇻).
Honestly, LDR is really hard! Going without seeing your loved one for months and still holding on - that is the definition of love ❤️ To us, having consistent communication and trust made our relationship strengthen. Even though it has been over 6 months we never fell apart.
We are about to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Our plan was to have it together but I guess we plan and God laughs. Anyway, when we finally get our visa we will get married and that outweighs all. We will continue to fight for what we believe in and we know it will work out soon!
It hasn't been easy but knowing more people are going through the same thing makes it a whole lot easier. Stay strong everybody!
And babe, it hasn't been easy but I'll love you through it all ❤️🌹
